29. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
30. And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.

First off I would like to thank the men who preached for me while Mrs. Chapman and I were away for a few days celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary.  How THANKFUL I am that this church is so blessed to have godly men who love the Lord, their church and the Word of God.  Thank you Bro. Glen Strome, Bro. Rick Cox, Bro. Tanasak Limphaibule, and Bro. Gerry Smith.  The local church revolves around Christ and His Word.  Our church proves this time and again.  Thak you men for a job well done.  I am so proud of each of you for your ministry.

I also wanted to ENCOURAGE you to be with us THIS SUNDAY.  This Sunday is comonly know as Palm SUNDAY.  It is also the last message in my series on the cross and it truly comes together with the week before Easter/Resurrection Sunday.  My message this Sunday is " The Majesty and the Glory of the Cross".  You will not want to miss this message as it will effect your life forever as well as prepare your heart for Easter Sunday.  I also have good news concerning Penny Sunday.

Reminders:  All church work day is this Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.  We will be doing general clean-up for Easter Sunday.  Men's Fellowship is Monday April 9th.(please sign-up).

Make an all out effort to invite family, friends, co-workers and strangers to our Resurrection Sunday Service.  We are living in unsure times, but we can be sure of what Jesus has done for man.  Easter Sunday will change people's hearts.
